Medium: Oak and poplar with paper used behind cut-work stars and retaining a natural varnish finish w/black details.
Miscellaneous: Also unique is the use of veneered sides w/open-work, cut-out stars applied over blue paper similarly used as background for paper-cuts or scherenschnitts.
