Folk Portrait of a Man
This striking folk portrait of a young man is one of a small group that has surfaced by an anonymous artist working in New England in the late 18th c. Three others, along with this one, were in the collection of Bertram K. and Nina Fletcher Little, and another example is in the collection of Shelburne Museum (Paintings and Drawings at the Shelburne Museum).
