Relatively few examples of bedcovers stenciled in paint have survived especially in fine condition.

Maker / Origin: Probably Maine with family history into Massachusetts, initialed "A.C." for Anna Cooper
Medium: Paint on cotton mounted on a stretcher for hanging.
